Robin and Shawn met at summer camp as kids and have remained fast friends even after dating, marriage, children, animal pals and now grandchildren. Their day-to-day life revolves around their family, century old home, gardens and their work as artisans. In addition to making miniatures, Robin also designs and licenses art to be used on products world wide.
Taryn, their oldest daughter, joined the team in 2012 or should we say...re-joined the team - some of you probably met her at various shows when she was just wee-high (probably playing under the table). Taryn has a BFA in Illustration and her work has appeared in Cloth Paper Scissors, Somerset Studio, Somerset Memories, Sew Somerset, Haute Handbags and Art Quilting Studio. Besides managing the office, she loves designing new kits and teaching workshops.
Scott (Taryn's hubby) joined the miniature team in 2013. Although his background is in education, he has always loved working with his hands. Whether its wrenching on a car, building a stonewall or creating something for their home...he enjoys every minute of it. When Taryn gives him one of her artsy ideas, he can usually whip something up from what they have on hand.
We are fascinated by all of the amazing talent in the miniature world and would love to see your work using our kits! Feel free to send us photos - we would love to post them to our website gallery. We are fortunate to have customers that love what we do. We are thankful for that everyday ~ Shawn, Robin, Taryn, Scott
